Database Expert Sought

We're on the hunt for a seasoned SQL Server Database Administrator with expertise in managing Azure databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage SQL Server databases both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Develop and oversee strategies for high availability and cost-effectiveness in Azure SQL Subscription services.
  • Optimize database performance, index configurations, and monitor critical systems.
  • Maintain disaster recovery solutions, backups, and ensure high availability.
  • Implement and enforce security policies, access controls, and compliance standards.
  • Execute database migrations from on-premises SQL Server to Azure SQL.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support continuous integration/continuous deployment and database lifecycle management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server and Azure SQL Subscription management.
  • Strong background in performance tuning and troubleshooting database issues.
  • Deep understanding of T-SQL, backup/recovery, replication, indexing, and security configurations.
  • Proven track record of migration projects from on-premises SQL Server to Azure.
  • Familiarity with Azure services like Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Automation.
