Job Title: Data Engineering Expert

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to design, develop, and maintain large-scale data systems for our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with database platforms, cloud services, and data processing tools.

  • Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop large-scale data systems that meet business requirements.
  • Cloud Services: Administer and maintain scalable cloud environments and applications for data organization, using AWS Redshift, AWS RDS, MySQL, and Snowflake.
  • Database Management: Install and maintain software, services, and applications by identifying system requirements and ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Database Administration: Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues through documentation, training, and mentoring.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational security and compliance standards, including data encryption, access control, and audit logging.

Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience with database platforms, including AWS Redshift, AWS RDS, MySQL, and Snowflake; cloud services; data processing tools; Linux Shell Scripting or Python; SQL; and performance tuning.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
