This role involves designing and implementing strategies to promote business growth in value chains, with a focus on market linkages and access to finance. The ideal candidate will have experience in natural resources management, agroforestry, and nature-based businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing business model development, market linkage, and access to finance strategies for priority value chains.
- Building partnerships with private actors and supporting sustainable community-led enterprises.
- Conducting technical workshops with stakeholders, including market engagement sessions.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Finance, or Business.
- 8 years of professional experience in the natural resources management, agroforestry, and nature-based businesses, with 5 years in value chain promotion, marketing, business model development, and establishing market linkages.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking and workshop facilitation expertise.
