Job Description:

The Travel Desk Specialist plays a critical role in Miles Education Private Limited by facilitating seamless domestic and international travel arrangements for employees. Key responsibilities include coordinating travel bookings, ensuring policy compliance, negotiating with vendors, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate travel arrangements for employees, including flights, accommodations, and car rentals.
  • Ensure travel bookings adhere to company travel policy and budget.
  • Maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers to secure favorable rates.
  • Stay updated on visa requirements for international travel and manage the application process.
  • Provide necessary travel documentation support to employees, including passports, travel insurance, and vaccination certificates.
  • Offer comprehensive travel support and assistance to employees, addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of travel arrangements, expenses, and documentation.
  • Prepare and submit travel expense reports for reimbursement.


Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Travel and Tourism, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a travel desk or similar role, with a strong understanding of domestic and international travel arrangements and visa processing.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in using travel booking systems and software.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
