Contract Management Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our legal team as an intern. The selected candidate will assist in contract management tasks, gaining valuable experience and skills in the field.

  • Contract abstraction and review involve extracting key terms and clauses from contracts to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • The intern will also draft basic legal documents such as amendments and review legal agreements like non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) under the supervision of senior team members.
  • Record keeping and organization of contracts are essential skills for this role, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records are maintained.
  • Tracking and managing existing contracts for renewal or amendment is another critical aspect of this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reviewing and abstracting contracts to extract key terms and clauses.
  • Draft basic documents like amendments and review legal documents like NDAs under the supervision of the senior team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contracts.
  • Track and manage existing contracts for renewal or amendment.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the legal team.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a law degree program (LL.B. or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant work experience may be considered.
  • Basic understanding of contract law and legal principles is essential for success in this role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately are crucial in this position.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills are required for effective collaboration and documentation.
