Cloud Engineer Opportunity

Design, develop and maintain APIs, tools and infrastructure using cloud computing concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Build self-service capabilities that enable developers to provision infrastructure, deploy applications and manage their environments independently.

  • Develop and maintain golden paths for common development tasks, ensuring consistency and best practices.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our cloud infrastructure.

Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools into the platform.

Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and pain points. Provide training and support to developers on how to use the platform effectively.

  • Champion a developer-centric approach to platform development.
  • Document platform features and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure engineering or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java).

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience building and maintaining internal developer platforms.
  • Experience with API design and development.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Experience with security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
