IT Infrastructure Sourcing Specialist


This role involves managing the procurement process of IT infrastructure products and services. As an IT Infrastructure Sourcing Specialist, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Foster collaboration and ensure communication with key stakeholders and colleagues in regions to deliver business goals.
  • Maintain engagement with client stakeholders through regular interaction and drive high levels of satisfaction.
  • Manage supplier relationships for assigned vendors.
  • Serve as a contact person for IT category with expertise on sub-categories such as Hardware, Software, Network, Telecom, and Cloud Services.

Requirements:


  • University degree in economics or Supply Chain Management and/or Law.
  • Sourcing/Procurement certification will be advantageous.
  • Strong English and Chinese language skills are preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years' experience in strategic sourcing gained in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence decision-making and resolve conflicts.

Experience:


  • Sourcing and contracting experience in IT Infrastructure Products and Services, Office IT Products and Services, and Cloud Services.
  • Deep understanding of License Models, Service Models, IT – Applications and Infrastructures.
  • Negotiation skills to maintain relationship with third-party IT vendors like IBM, Oracle, Wipro, and small OEMs.
  • Highly competent in negotiations and contract knowledge to converse, negotiate with suppliers and review contracts in English.
