Software Delivery Specialist

We are seeking an experienced software delivery specialist to handle all aspects of application packaging and delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of software deployment technologies, including Windows Installer Technologies, App-V 4.6, and 5.0.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in VB/WMI scripting, Batch Scripting, PowerShell scripting & PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit, as well as experience in migrating applications from Windows 7/8/10 using Admin Studio/Install shield.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain expertise in software deployment technologies.
  • Migrate applications from Windows 7/8/10 using Admin Studio/Install shield.
  • Test and remediate applications to ensure Windows 7/8 compatibility using tools like ACT 5.6.
  • Create /Repackage applications using various Packaging Tools like Wise or Admin Studio.
  • Design and implement MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, Standard Actions using Windows Installer Technologies.
  • Utilize Application Virtualization Technologies, App-V 4.6, 5.0.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Windows 7/8/10 Migration projects.
  • Proficient in Admin Studio/Install shield.
  • Knowledge of Creating /Repackaging applications using various Packaging Tools like Wise or Admin Studio.
  • Sound Knowledge on Windows Installer Technologies - MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, Standard Actions.
  • Expertise in Application Virtualization Technologies, App-V 4.6, 5.0.
Preferred Skills:
  • VMware Workstation/ Oracle Virtual Box.
  • PowerShell scripting & PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit.
  • ACT 5.6.
