Software Packaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Packaging Specialist to support the preparation, testing, and release of software within customer environments.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Windows operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, and Microsoft Intune product family.

About the Role

The Software Packaging Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the right packaging and delivery approach is used, depending on the application.

  • Application intake and processing
  • Packaging using various tools, such as InstallShield and RayPack
  • Technical testing and documentation
  • Deployment and maintenance
  • Incident resolution and request fulfillment

The specialist will work closely with customers, application owners, and vendors to ensure smooth software releases and updates. A strong knowledge of ITIL-based operations and ServiceNow is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Windows 11 and AD Group Policies
  • Expertise in MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Intune product family
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills
  • Flexibility during emergency situations
  • Proficiency in English language
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Citrix environment
  • Microsoft Certifications (MD-100, MD-101, or MD-102)
  • Knowledge of multiple customer environments
  • International work experience

This role requires a strong understanding of software packaging principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
