Accounting Manager Position Overview

This role is focused on leading the finance department, overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on GST-related matters, providing guidance on compliance and tax regulations.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and mitigate risk.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, preparing and presenting detailed financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with statutory regulations, including TDS, TCS, Provident Fund, ESI, and other requirements under the Companies Act.
  • Mentor, guide, and develop the accounting team to foster a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, specifically within a private limited company in India.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. A professional certification (CA / CMA) is highly preferred.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SAP Business One (SAP B1) and strong proficiency in SQL is mandatory.
  • Deep expertise in Indian GST laws, comprehensive knowledge of Ind AS, corporate law, and direct/indirect taxation.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong leadership qualities.
