Job Title:

Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Lead to oversee the day-to-day accounting, reporting, and compliance for our India entity. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of the Monthly Close Process: Coordinate all closing activities, prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, intercompany activity, and reporting in accordance with internal deadlines and global consolidation requirements.
  • Ensure Financial Integrity: Verify that financials are complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable accounting standards and corporate policies.
  • Manage Accounting Operations: Maintain general ledger integrity, manage fixed assets, and ensure adherence to internal controls.
  • Manufacturing and Distribution Finance: Oversee all financial aspects of local manufacturing and distribution activities, including cost accounting, variance analysis, and support of operational KPIs.
  • Inventory Management: Analyze excess and obsolete inventory exposures, and maintain accurate standard costs.
  • Treasury Activities: Manage banking relationships, monitor bank balances, and ensure effective cash management to support operational needs.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings, coordination with relevant regulatory bodies and advisors, and preparation of VAT returns.
  • Support Annual Budgeting: Partner with FP&A Analyst and operations leaders to leverage planning systems, establish schedules, collect and analyze financial data, and recommend plans.
  • Ad-Hoc Assignments: Provide insights and recommendations to India leadership for informed decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance leadership roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
