Occupancy Planner

To lead and provide expert space planning in supply, capacity, and demand. This role ensures optimal use of various facilities through strategic space management and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and provide tactical space planning expertise in supply, capacity, and demand.
  • Manage day-to-day change requests related to space.
  • Develop project space planning and solutions.
  • Provide project support, including client relationship management and project coordination for internal stakeholders.
  • Support site strategy related to space and occupancy analysis, solution outcomes, and utilization metrics.
  • Maintain and analyze Business Unit (BU) demand/supply information for space.
  • Monitor BU demand and supply against the approved space plan.
  • Work with internal departments on utilization data and sizing model information.
  • Understand and incorporate workplace strategy in long-term occupancy plans.
  • Identify tactical projects for implementation related to space optimization.
  • Create current and forecasted Stack Plans for various facilities.
  • Develop detailed space plans.
  • Monitor unplanned activity impacting space utilization.
  • Develop and expand relationships with key internal client/site stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Employee Experience for planning.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure work is delivered within timeframe and agreed-upon scope.
  • Support change management as it pertains to changing workspace and work style within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or study area (i.e., Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management Planning/Coordination, Facilities, Project or Construction Management).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop conclusions and recommendations.
  • Maintains working knowledge of CAFM software, space management systems, and relational database functionality.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design.
  • Experienced in managing projects of varied scope and complexity.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite software applications.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective services.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Assumes ownership of requests in order to ensure successful completion.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to handle concurrent projects with minimal supervision and direction.
