The Business Operations Manager is a crucial role responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, plans, and procedures to drive company growth. This position oversees daily operations and leads employees to maximize performance.
Main Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive goals and policies that align with the company vision.
- Operational Management: Oversee executives in various departments, including IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.
- Leadership: Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- Performance Evaluation: Analyze and interpret data and metrics to evaluate performance.
- Expansion and Partnerships: Participate in expansion activities, manage relationships with partners/vendors, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in senior leadership roles, with a focus on operations management.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and financial acumen.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the ship repair & upgradation, shipbuilding, defence technology, equipment sales & services, and weapons & electronics industries.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with maritime regulations and safety standards.
- Project Management: Ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
