Job Title

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects.

About the Role

The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting in preparing construction schedules and work plans, coordinating with design teams, consultants, and contractors, and identifying project requirements and assisting in resource planning.

They will also be responsible for oversight of day-to-day construction activities to ensure alignment with approved drawings and specifications, supervision of subcontractors and site teams to maintain quality and progress, and resolution of on-site technical issues in coordination with the engineering and design team.

The Project Engineer will also review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs, prepare and review method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals, and maintain updated records, daily progress reports, and as-built documentation.

Additionally, they will ensure work compliance with quality standards, codes, and project specifications, conduct inspections and coordinate with the QA/QC team for rectification of non-conformities, monitor material testing and ensure use of approved materials, and implement safety practices on-site in compliance with HSE policies.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects, proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite, familiarity with national building codes, IS codes, and construction safety standards, and strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite
  • Familiarity with national building codes, IS codes, and construction safety standards
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
