Job Purpose:

Leads and oversees all planning, scheduling, coordination, procurement, contracts, architecture, design, and quality for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops project baselines, schedules, and reporting mechanisms for large-scale developments such as high-rise buildings, hotels, resorts, hospitals, and commercial infrastructure.
  • Conducts contract familiarization; attends kickoff/concept meetings and prepares site organization charts and resource plans.
  • Reviews and inputs on construction schedules; develops site infrastructure requirements and budget costs.
  • Participates in 3D model reviews, constructability studies, and provides construction-related inputs.
  • Coodinates engineering disciplines for BOQ/tendering, estimate costs, prepares tenders, analyzes technical bids, and participates in price negotiations for EPC contracts.
  • Establishes site offices and infrastructure, monitors resource availability and construction materials.
  • Overssees billing schedules, progress reviews, contractor bill processing, and subcontracts closeout.
  • Resolves technical and contractual site queries, manages documentation for claims/escalations, and prepares completion reports with lessons learned.
  • Leads and guides project managers, refines project management processes, and ensures efficient delivery from conceptualization through QA and handover.
  • Monitors schedules, cost, quality, and performance; identifies risks and mitigation plans.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • High-level communication, decision-making, and technical field skills.
  • Expert coordination of cost, time, and quality parameters; MIS reporting; contractor billing and rate negotiation.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Projects, and Primavera.
  • Fast-track planning abilities and out-of-the-box thinking.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E. Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 25 years' experience in project planning, scheduling, procurement, contracts, architecture, design, and quality assurance for construction projects
