Shift Timing: 5:30 PM till 2:30 AM IST

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Trend Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis to identify key trends, investigate unusual items, and provide variance analysis to stakeholders.
  2. Long-term Demand Forecasting: Create accurate forecasts for multiple product lines, taking into account market fluctuations and seasonal changes.
  3. Short-term Re-forecasting: Update forecasts to reflect updated information and retail partners' planning confirmations.
  4. Data Interpretation: Analyze external data to understand its impact on future chart inflow volume and make informed decisions.
  5. Supporting Forecasting and Capacity Planning: Assist in creating monthly and annual budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and capacity planning.
  6. Reporting and Tools Development: Create reporting tools and dashboards to aid demand planning and allocation teams in making data-driven decisions.
  7. Research and Recommendation: Continuously research and recommend data sources, models, and methods to increase forecast accuracy and drive business growth.
  8. Querying Databases and Statistical Analysis: Utilize Python, SQL, and statistical computer languages to query databases and perform complex statistical analyses.
  9. Predictive Modeling: Leverage predictive modeling techniques to optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and ad targeting.
  10. Dataset Management: Work with large datasets, data warehouses, and pull relevant data using programming languages like Python and SQL.
  11. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  12. Evaluating Data Sources and Models: Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and gathering techniques, developing processes to monitor model performance and data accuracy.
  13. Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) Analysis: Use analytics to increase CLV for clients acquired digitally by pitching the right products at the right time.
  14. Compliance: Adhere to the employment contract, company policies, and directives, including flexibility of work benefits and alternative work arrangements.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Education and Experience: Graduate degree or above, preferably in Finance, Business, Statistics, Insurance, or related fields; 3+ years of experience in analytical roles, particularly in forecasting and e-commerce industries.
  2. Statistical Analysis and Excel Skills: Strong background in statistical analysis, advanced Excel skills, and proven knowledge of SQL.
  3. Python Programming: Advanced Python skills, including Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, Stats models, and other relevant libraries.
  4. Data Engineering and Insights: Proven ability to structure, clean, engineer data, and derive insights from missing or ambiguous data.
  5. Relationship Building and Project Management: Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage projects efficiently in a dynamic environment.
