Job Overview:

  • To guarantee the site-specific benefits of our upgrade portfolio, you will verify the structural integrity of installed wind turbines. Working in a global and cross-functional team as an interface between customers and various service regions is key.

Key Responsibilities:

">

  • Re-assess existing/planned wind farms using internal tools to confirm compatibility of upgrades and turbine specific structural integrity.

  • Acknowledge site-specific wind conditions, apply mechanical load mitigation strategies, run bucket approaches, assess lifetime extension possibilities, approval processes, and document findings.

  • Create benefit calculations, drive validation campaigns, and initiate upgrade implementation to support sales efforts.

  • Collaborate with global service regions and after-sales colleagues to convince customers and stakeholders, enabling successful product sales.

  • Have a measurable impact on business performance by building a network within the company and industry, staying updated on new technological developments, and representing the team in strategic discussions.

Requirements:

  • Completed university studies in Engineering or Business/Economics with a strong technical background.

  • 5-10 years of experience in wind & site assessments, mechanical loads department, or equivalent technical service organizations in the wind energy industry.

  • Highly analytical with a holistic approach and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Self-driven, focused, and pragmatic with demonstrated ability to bring topics to success in complex environments.

  • Optionally knowledgeable in wind turbine technology, including site assessment, wind turbine control, load calculation, aerodynamics, etc.

  • Optional WindPRO and Python experience.

  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or related field.

  • Excellent communication skills.
