Wind Turbine Foundation Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled wind turbine foundation design expert to fill this key position in our Engineering Design Office – Renewables.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing wind turbine generator foundations to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards. Your work will focus on delivering cost-effective and sustainable solutions for renewable energy projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize WTG foundations (gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, shallow mat, ribbed beam, etc.)
  • Perform structural load and stress calculations (gravity, wind, seismic, fatigue)
  • Select and validate construction materials for efficiency and sustainability
  • Prepare and review design basis reports, BOQs, drawings, and calculations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrology, BoP, electrical, and CTS teams
  • Support certification processes with external agencies
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Provide technical support to BD, procurement, EPC partners, and consultants

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization) or Master's in Structural or Civil (preferred)
  • Experience: 8–12 years in Power & Utilities sector with focus on renewable energy foundations
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D, and expertise in WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, and civil design codes
