We are seeking a highly skilled automation professional to join our engineering team.

Job Description

This role is focused on building robust automation frameworks, designing maintainable test suites, and ensuring flawless product delivery across APIs, microservices, and web applications.

Main Responsibilities
  • Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js).
  • Automation Framework Optimization: Extend and optimize automation frameworks for UI, REST APIs, and microservices testing.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Data-Driven Testing: Write data-driven and reusable test scripts ensuring scalability and high coverage.
  • Test Debugging and Resolution: Debug, diagnose, and resolve flaky tests to maintain reliable automation pipelines.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test strategies.
  • Test Documentation and Reporting: Document test approaches, maintain test reports, and provide visibility into product quality.
  • Code Review and Standards: Review automation code contributions from peers and uphold high engineering standards.
Requirements
  • Experience in Automation: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in automation.
  • Playwright Expertise: Strong expertise in Playwright for web UI automation (TypeScript/Node.js preferred).
  • REST API Testing: Good working knowledge of REST API testing (using Playwright, PyTest, or equivalent frameworks).
  • CI/CD Experience: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into delivery workflows.
  • SQL Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL for basic data validation.
  • Debugging Skills: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Candidate Profile
  • Scalability and Complexity Experience: Proven track record of scaling automation frameworks for large, complex applications.
  • Parallel Test Execution: Experience in parallel test execution and cloud-based test execution.
  • Test Reliability and Performance: Contributions to improving test reliability, performance testing, or visual regression testing.
  • Mentorship and Code Review: Ability to mentor junior automation professionals, conduct automation code reviews, and champion best practices.
  • Innovation and Emerging Tools: A passion for keeping up with emerging automation tools and bringing innovation into the practice.
