Haique Surfaces is a leading provider of quartz surfaces, and we are seeking an experienced Business Development and Specification Expert to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual to drive business growth through strategic relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and other specifiers. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales, marketing, and business development within the construction or building materials sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH SPECIFIERS: Network with architects, designers, contractors, and other specifiers to build trust and establish ourselves as a go-to partner for quartz surface solutions.
  • UNDERSTAND PROJECT REQUIREMENTS: Collaborate with specifiers to understand project requirements, including aesthetic preferences, technical specifications, budget constraints, and project timelines.
  • EDUCATE AND TRAIN SPECIFIERS: Provide comprehensive product education and training on our quartz surfaces, including features, benefits, applications, and installation techniques.
  • WRITE PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS: Assist specifiers in writing detailed product specifications that meet project requirements and comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • TRACK AND FOLLOW-UP ON PROJECTS: Monitor projects through various stages of the specification process, from initial design to project completion, and follow up with specifiers regularly to provide updates and address concerns.
  • COLLABORATE WITH SALES AND MARKETING TEAMS: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies and initiatives to increase product specification and sales.
  • OFFER TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND TROUBLESHOOTING: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to specifiers, architects, and designers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with specifiers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • ENSURE PRODUCT QUALITY: Ensure that our products meet quality standards, industry regulations, and customer expectations.
  • CONDUCT MARKET ANALYSIS AND REPORTING: Gather market intelligence to identify opportunities for product expansion and growth, and prepare regular reports on specification activity, market trends, competitor analysis, and sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or specification within the quartz surfaces or ceramics industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with architects, designers, contractors, and other specifiers to influence product specifications and selections for construction projects.
  • A strong sales and marketing background with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building client relationships within the construction or building materials sector.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
