Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Solutions Expert to join our team at FRI FIL India Business and Research Services Private Limited.

Salary

Rupees 1,200,000 - 1,800,000 per annum.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to facilitate requirement elicitation, data querying, and analysis activities for our Institutional function in India.

Main Responsibilities
  • Function as a techno-functional resource and assist in designing solutions for institutional business.
  • Capture and clarify business requirements through a range of analysis techniques for the FIL Institutional Business (data flow diagrams, case tool analysis, gap analysis, and work & process flow diagrams).
  • Obtain agreement on business analysis deliverables and ensure that they meet all the requirements of the institutional business and track these across multiple systems groups.
  • Guide or mentor junior team members.
  • Work with business leads to identify, define, and clarify the scope/issues in terms of complex business/systems requirements.
  • Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability/feasibility.
  • Have hands-on knowledge of web application/UI design.
  • Work with business analysts to capture and clarify business requirements and support business and technology teams in data analysis for the institutional client reporting.
  • Act as a proxy customer with the development teams, facilitating open communication between the customer and development team.
  • Drive user acceptance criteria with the customer.
  • Be well-versed in AGILE terminologies and have knowledge of AGILE tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Stay abreast of key emerging products/industry standards in the Business Analysis arena.
  • Hold knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis, which will be an added advantage.
  • Have exposure to MS Office products like Visio and Excel.
Experience and Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of relevant business analysis experience preferably with a financial services firm.
  • Good knowledge of database and reporting technologies/systems.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and ability to understand data models, database structures, etc., to perform in-depth data analysis for client reports and dashboards.
  • Well-versed with concepts around mutual funds, stock markets, securities – equity, fixed income, and derivatives.
  • Knowledge of fund accounting, fund performance, attribution, and risk measures is desirable.
  • Exposure to structured software development life-cycle methodology (preferably Agile or Iterative development).
  • Experience of working with multi-cultural teams in a geographically diverse environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think laterally to arrive at a solution.
  • Must have an eye for detail and analyze/relate to the business problem in hand.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with all business and systems stakeholders.
  • Strong customer awareness with the ability to manage customer expectations.
