Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to lead strategic sales and relationship management within the government sector, focusing on cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity solutions.

About the Opportunity:

  • Bld and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in central and state government departments, PSUs, and other public sector bodies.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic sales of cloud, AI, and cybersecurity solutions. Identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Understand customer pain points and present tailored solutions using cloud, AI, and cybersecurity technologies.
  • Lead or support government RFPs, RFIs, and tenders. Ensure compliance with government procurement policies and standards.
  • Develop account plans to map customer needs, budget cycles, competitive landscape, and expansion opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in enterprise or government sales, with a focus on cloud, AI, or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the government/public sector.
  • Strong understanding of the public procurement process, including GeM, eProcurement platforms, and tender management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
