Job Title: Agency Sales Leader

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Branch Manager to lead and manage the agency sales team at the branch level. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business targets through recruitment, development, and retention of insurance advisors/agents.

 

  • Business Growth & Development
  • - Drive sales of life insurance products through the agency channel to achieve branch business targets.
  • - Identify business opportunities, plan and execute strategies to maximize market share.
  • - Monitor competitor activities and market trends to improve branch performance.

 

  • Agency Talent Acquisition & Development
  • - Recruit, train, and develop insurance advisors and leaders to build a strong and productive agency force.
  • - Ensure regular skill enhancement and certification of agents as per industry guidelines.
  • - Conduct motivation and retention programs for advisors to minimize attrition.

 

  • Team Leadership
  • - Lead, guide, and mentor the branch sales team.
  • - Ensure performance management, productivity tracking, and capability building of the sales team.
  • - Drive a high-performance culture within the branch.

 

  • Operational Excellence & Compliance
  • - Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
  • - Maintain high levels of persistency and quality of business.
  • - Oversee smooth branch operations and effective coordination with support functions.

 

  • Customer Focus
  • - Promote customer-centric culture within the branch.
  • - Ensure service excellence and grievance redressal for policyholders and agents.
  • - Build strong relationships with agents and key customers to drive loyalty and referrals.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Achievement of branch sales targets.

- Recruitment and retention of agents.

- Productivity per agent & per manager.

- Compliance & quality score.

- Branch profitability and growth.

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred).

- 7–12 years of experience in sales, with at least 3–5 years in insurance/financial services in a leadership role.

- Strong exposure to Agency Channel preferred.

- Excellent people management, communication, and networking skills.

- Ability to drive performance and achieve business results.
