Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned Technology Director to lead large-scale, mission-critical technology projects. This individual will oversee the design, architecture, and delivery of global transformation engagements, driving technical excellence and ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

The ideal candidate has deep technical leadership skills combined with domain expertise in digital payments, transaction banking, and cash management. They must be able to drive engineering rigor across Java-based platforms, Microservices, APIs, and integrations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Technical Leadership: Oversee the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of large tech projects. Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Program Management: Oversee multi-stream programs, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Team Management: Manage cross-functional technology teams (developers, architects, QA, DevOps). Drive performance, innovation, and a culture of engineering excellence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with CXO-level stakeholders on architecture reviews, technical direction, and delivery roadmaps.

Core areas of expertise include:

  • Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, Microservices architecture, and REST APIs.
  • Proven delivery of enterprise-scale payment systems, transaction platforms, and cash/channel banking applications.
  • Deep domain experience in digital payments, RTGS/NEFT, UPI, ISO20022, SWIFT, reconciliation systems.
  • Ability to scale large tech teams, drive modernization, and lead cloud-native transformations.

Requirements:

  • B.Tech in Computer Science or related field.
  • 18+ years of progressive experience in product engineering, platform delivery, or fintech transformation.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on or architectural exposure to Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, cloud platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in leading enterprise banking/payment system implementations.
  • Proficient in Agile, DevOps, SAFe, and global delivery methodologies.
