Job Title: Microsoft Purview Consultant

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive the design, implementation, and adoption of data governance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and manage data governance solutions for compliance and risk management.
  • Define and implement data classification policies across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
  • Configure and manage data loss prevention, insider risk management, records management, and eDiscovery in data governance solutions.
  • Integrate data governance with security and compliance platforms for end-to-end enforcement.
  • Assess current data estate, identify compliance gaps, and propose remediation strategies.
  • Support data cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management to strengthen governance.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and business teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and deliver technical documentation, training, and adoption workshops.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for data governance solutions and their integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience in data governance, security, or information protection.
  • Strong expertise with data governance tools, including compliance manager, DLP, information protection, insider risk, eDiscovery, and records management.
  • Proven track record with sensitivity labels, retention policies, and data classification frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of data security and compliance capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Azure services, security platforms, and cloud-based applications.
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks and ability to map them into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Good to Have (Preferred):

  • Expertise in cloud-based security and compliance ecosystems.
  • Experience with data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale deployments, migrations, and compliance rollouts.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
