Job Title: Data Governance Lead

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned data governance professional to spearhead our organization's data privacy initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in navigating global data privacy regulations and developing comprehensive compliance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams in implementing data governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough data impact assessments and develop remediation strategies.
  • Design and enhance data protection policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Collaborate with IT, Risk, and Compliance functions to ensure seamless integration of data governance practices.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on data governance and compliance best practices.
  • Presents findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in data governance, information security, or compliance.
  • Extensive knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with data audits, assessments, and compliance programs.
  • Exposure to ISO 27701, ISO 27001, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications:

  • CIPT / CIPP-E / CISM / CISA or equivalent certifications.
