Job Title - Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. This strategic position requires someone who can design governance frameworks, drive adoption, and enable trusted data for analytics, compliance, and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and administer our data intelligence platform across the enterprise.
  • Design and configure the operating model (domains, assets, workflows, and roles).
  • Build and optimize custom workflows using BPMN and Workflow Designer.
  • Integrate our platform with various platforms via APIs/connectors.
  • Partner with data owners, stewards, and leadership to enforce governance policies and data stewardship models.
  • Establish frameworks for data cataloging, lineage, metadata, and quality management.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and best practices to business and technical teams.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 6+ years in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with our platform, including configuration, workflow design, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
  • Expertise with APIs, BPMN, and scripting.
  • Experience with data catalog, business glossary, and lineage.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Certification in data governance strongly preferred.
