Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled US Accounting Professional to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks for multiple clients. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax compliance, and payroll processing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial records, journal entries, and general ledger adjustments in accordance with US accounting standards.
  • Prepare accurate accounts payable and receivable records, as well as timely posting of transactions.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company balances.

Financial Reporting:

  • Develop and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per US GAAP.
  • Support the preparation of management reports and financial dashboards for clients.
  • Provide timely updates, reports, and financial insights to clients.

Taxation & Compliance:

  • Assist with US tax filings, sales tax returns, and payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and client-specific requirements.
  • Liaise with external tax consultants and auditors when required.

Client Communication & Support:

  • Collaborate closely with US-based clients to understand their accounting needs.
  • Handle queries and resolve issues related to accounting, reporting, or compliance.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in US Accounting / Outsourcing / KPO industry.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US tax compliance, and payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with US clients.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts aligned with US business hours.
