Enterprise Solutions Architect Job Description

This role involves driving analysis and design activities to deliver SAP solutions for IT projects. You will work closely with stakeholders to manage demand and solution delivery to time, quality, and standards.

  • Understanding complex requirements and identifying SAP impacts and required system changes to drive business change.
  • Documentation of system processes through diagramming.
  • SAP configuration in the required functional area.
  • Writing functional specifications to explain required system changes in detail for an ABAP programmer to develop from.
  • Functional unit testing of ABAP changes or configuration changes.
  • Collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to deliver SAP changes.
  • Implementation of system changes to production.
  • Warranty support of changes.
Required Skills
  • Experience with SAP modules such as ERP Core, Customer Relationship Management, Retail & Commerce, Data & Analytics, Cross-Functional & Governance, Human Capital Management.
  • A curious problem solver able to understand how the current SAP configuration works and analyze SAP system impacts.
  • A questioning mindset to dig deeper into requirements and understand real problems.
  • Ability to explain complex IT concepts in understandable business language.
  • Ownership to drive and deliver changes to production.
  • Ability to deal with senior stakeholders and multiple demands.
  • A strong commercial acumen and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities.
