Job Title: Senior RPG Developer

">Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior RPG Developer to join our team. As a Senior RPG Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing systems using AS400/RPG technologies.

You will lead the development of modules in JSON and utilize RPGLE and RPG Free formatting to drive system innovation. Additionally, you will design and implement SQL and SQLRPGLE solutions to enhance data management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Development: Develop high-quality software applications using AS400/RPG technologies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead teams from a development and system support setting, fostering a culture of self-starter mentality and bias for action.
  • Ticket Resolution: Resolve tickets in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and continuously strive for excellence and speed.
  • Communication: Represent the IT team in meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct QA & Testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements

To be successful as a Senior RPG Developer, you must have:

  • Experience: Proven experience with AS400/RPG technologies, including RPGLE and RPG Free formatting.
  • Skill: Proficiency in developing in-house software, including SQL and SQLRPGLE solutions.
  • Certification: Possession of PMP and ITIL Certifications is desirable.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with warehouse management systems and proficiency in developing in-house software are nice to have.
