About Orange Business

We are seeking a seasoned Monitoring and Observability System Architect to lead our team in designing network monitoring & observability solutions within our Service Assurance systems landscape.

This role involves defining standards and best practices for monitoring and observability, automating the collection, analysis, and visualization of metrics and logs, and collaborating with business teams to gather requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. They should be adaptable to changing environments, demonstrate leadership qualities, and have a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Significant experience (at least 5 years) in monitoring, observability, and SRE architecture.
  • Proficiency with Splunk and BluePlanet UAA (or other industry standard monitoring and observability tools).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud environments (Azure (preferred), GCP, AWS), microservices architectures, and containerization technologies (Kubernetes).

About You

This is a senior position requiring a minimum of 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years of demonstrated success as a technical leader in Monitoring and Observability. A degree in IT Engineering is essential, and relevant certifications will be appreciated.

Your Technical Skills

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Designing network monitoring & observability solutions within our Service Assurance systems landscape.
  2. Defining standards and best practices for monitoring and observability.
  3. Automating the collection, analysis, and visualization of metrics and logs.
  4. Collaborating with business teams to gather requirements.
  5. Leading system architecture of service assurance AgileReleaseTrain.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in monitoring, observability, and SRE architecture.
  • Proficiency with Splunk and BluePlanet UAA (or other industry standard monitoring and observability tools).
