Job Description:

The role of Supply Chain Strategist is pivotal in driving the future of our Demand and Forecasting product engine. This individual will collaborate with a talented team to define the product roadmap, manage the product lifecycle, and represent our forecasting capabilities both internally and externally.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive the strategic direction of our forecasting capabilities, working closely with product leadership and cross-functional teams.

  2. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing maintenance, aligning it with business objectives and customer needs.

  3. Work effectively with development, implementation, training, sales, and support teams to ensure product success.

  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and customer requirements.

  5. Develop and communicate compelling product positioning and messaging.

  6. Collaborate in an agile environment, working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience, with 3+ years of Product Management and/or Supply Chain Software Implementation experience.

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to make data-driven recommendations, and understand analysis to answer business questions and challenges.

  • Flexibility and receptiveness to change, seeking and adopting improved approaches and processes.

  • Results-oriented, taking responsibility for actions and outcomes, meeting commitments, and striving for high performance.

  • Timely decision-making, prioritization, problem-solving, result monitoring, and remedial action where necessary.

  • Technical proficiency, knowledge of role tasks, and responsibilities, understanding UI/UX design and database structures, running SQL queries, and working extensively with mockup tools.

  • Responsibility for own learning, recognizing personal strengths and development needs, openness to feedback, and continuous learning.

  • Strong facilitation and written communication, proposing a way forward, listening to diverse perspectives, presenting at industry conferences, and communicating product value to analysts.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience building or leveraging forecasting models and/or utilizing data platforms for forecasting applications.

  • Understanding the science behind Demand Forecasting.

  • Interest in learning and developing new functional and technical skills.

  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.

  • Working knowledge of product development architecture.

  • Working knowledge of data modeling and using SQL.

  • Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles.

  • Excellent oral and written communication.

  • Project planning and management.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate well with co-workers.
