Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage our Direct Tax team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities and experience in managing teams of 7-8 people.

The role involves monitoring and managing daily workflow, department matrix, and goals such as SLA & TAT. You will also be responsible for handling employee and customer relationship management and client escalations.

The position requires critical analysis skills and the ability to monitor and manage activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and managing Monthly TDS / TCS liabilities of Group Companies (60 locations).

You will also review and be responsible for filing Quarterly TDS/TCS returns (24Q,26Q,27Q & 27EQ) and verify Various TDS Forms (16,16A & 27D). Furthermore, you will review 26AS Reconciliation and provide data for Clause 34 (Tax Audit) to the auditor.

In this role, you will also ensure all other audits are completed within the timeline and adhere to statutory and legal requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Finance & Accounts with exposure in Reconciliation and General Ledger function
  • Experience in SAP enabled environment
  • Experience in Manufacturing Industry or has handled a Manufacturing client in Shared Services/ BPO
