Accounting Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to General Ledger operations.

This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting both internal and external financial reporting requirements.

  • Financial Operations & GL Management:
    - Lead the day-to-day operations for Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions.
    - Oversee the preparation and posting of all journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications.
    - Conduct detailed and complex balance sheet and bank reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Month-End & Financial Reporting:
    - Manage and support full month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all sub-ledgers are reconciled to the GL.
    - Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports in accordance with established accounting standards and regulations.
    - Support intercompany accounting and adjustments to maintain accurate records across business units.
  • Compliance & Controls:
    - Ensure strict compliance with internal accounting standards and policies, including IFRS and/or US GAAP.
    - Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
    - Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial data and assets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Core Experience:
- 6-8 years of overall experience in accounting and finance.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting.
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong hands-on expertise in end-to-end financial processes, including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations.
- Experience with non-Indian processes, such as those in the Middle East, or other international regions.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and standards, specifically IFRS or US GAAP.
