Job Description

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in financial analysis, account management, budgeting, forecasting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure business transactions are accurately reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Work closely with team members to assist with financial planning and operations
  • Assist with the annual audit process, including the draft of financial statements and related notes
  • Research and analyze financial variances for senior management
  • Manage Accounts Payables & Receivables.
  • Provide financial insights to management by researching and analyzing financial data and preparing reports.
  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Document financial transactions by entering account details.
  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing financial options.
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
  • Validate financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Maintain financial controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Guide financial staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Secure financial information by completing database backups.
  • Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
  • Process payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
  • Answer financial procedure questions by researching and interpreting financial policy and regulations.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality and protect operations by keeping financial information secure.
Qualifications:
  • 4-8 years of professional financial experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent experience
  • Must be proficient with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks or Tally.
