Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality of our optical metrology systems.

  • Perform various types of testing, including integration testing, system interface testing, and functional testing.
  • Cover the end-to-end metrology solution workflow from operating optical metrology tools to producing thin film/OCD metrology solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with product, hardware, software, application, and characterization teams in designing SQA testing strategies and plans based on product requirements and technical design documents.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities to meet product release schedules and requirements.
  • Design, implement, and maintain test automation capabilities to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve testing suites/processes for various purposes such as feature testing, regression testing, release testing, and benchmarking.
  • Document software defects and work closely with software teams in addressing them.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Identify software quality gaps and provide solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related discipline.
  • Passionate about quality and taking ownership.
  • Critical problem-solving and strong analytical skills.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of SQA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Solid knowledge in scripting.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
