Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Collaborate with R&D, design, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, service, and marketing teams.">
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on product specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.">
  • Drive supplier and vendor engagement during development and ramp-up.">

Product Development & Validation:

  • Evaluate DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) and DFX principles in the design stage.">
  • Oversee prototyping, pilot builds, and validation testing (performance, reliability, regulatory compliance).">
  • Lead issue tracking and resolution during EVT, DVT, and PVT phases.">

Operational Readiness:

  • Establish production readiness with manufacturing teams, including process validation, line setup, and yield improvement.">
  • Drive cost optimization through value engineering and supplier development.">
  • Ensure smooth handover to operations post-launch.">

Continuous Improvement:

  • Develop and refine NPI processes, tools, and best practices tailored for consumer appliance development.">
  • Track post-launch performance (quality, service feedback, cost metrics) and drive iterative improvements.">

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong program management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.">
  • Deep understanding of appliance product development, preferably in water purifiers / home appliances / consumer electronics.">
  • Knowledge of plastic parts, filtration technologies, electronics integration, pumps/valves, and assembly processes.">
  • Hands-on experience in DFMA, validation testing, regulatory certifications (ROHS, ISI, BIS, NSF, etc.).">
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.">
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.">
