Financial Transaction Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional with expertise in import accounting to fill this critical position.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data related to import transactions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, with a focus on import-related activities.
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions associated with imports, encompassing accounts payable and receivable, duty payments, customs clearance, and foreign currency transactions.
- Analyze and monitor import-related financial performance indicators, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience working as an accountant, with specific expertise in import accounting, preferably in a multinational company or complex financial environment.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and import regulations and customs requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, particularly SAP, to effectively perform import-related financial tasks and analyze data.
