Financial Transaction Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Transaction Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing and reconciling intercompany transactions across global entities in line with company policies and accounting standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across global entities in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Perform various accounting tasks such as journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and eliminations related to intercompany accounts.
  • Ensure timely settlement of intercompany balances and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Analyze monthly intercompany reconciliations and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to address intercompany matters.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including intercompany confirmations and reporting.
  • Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting duties.
  • Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any variances that occur.
  • Generate and review financial reports (P&L, balance sheet).
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting procedures.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly GAAP/IFRS.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
