About YipitData we are seeking a highly skilled Data Tagging QA Specialist to join our dynamic team in India. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the growth of our company, with exceptional employees having the potential to be promoted and manage a team of other specialists.

This is a fully remote position based in India, requiring some overlap with U.S. work hours during training and onboarding, but offering greater flexibility in standard work hours once fully ramped.

Responsibilities:
  • Define transactions belonging to a vendor for downstream processes, client-facing feeds, and applications by researching software vendors, identifying products, subsidiaries, and alternative names, searching raw financial transaction data, writing RegEx and Python code, and running data quality assurance checks.
  • Primarily complete work using SQL and Python within Databricks notebooks, collaborating closely with our U.S.-based Data Product team daily.
  • Collaborate and improve the process and tooling of identifying software vendors, tagging, cleaning data, and using output to enrich private company intelligence.
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and 1-3+ years of experience as a data or quality assurance analyst.
  • Ability to collaborate with global teams, with proven experience working with a US-based employer, strong English proficiency, and knowledge of finance or economics.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, Regex, and managing large datasets.
