Finance and Growth Specialist

This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual with strong financial acumen, who can manage core finance operations and contribute to strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will act as a co-pilot to the founder, ensuring financial discipline and taking ownership of everything from bookkeeping to FP&A.

They will also shadow the founder on growth, business strategy, and investor-related matters, gaining exposure to startup fundraising, market analysis, pricing strategy, and business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations: End-to-end bookkeeping, bills receivable/payable tracking, invoice management, and cash flow management
  • Tax Compliances: GST filings, tax return filings, and other statutory compliances
  • Financial Planning: Forecasting, scenario modeling, expense reporting, and building scalable financial systems
  • Strategic Support: Shadow the founder in high-level meetings, fundraising conversations, and strategy discussions
  • Market Analysis: Support in market analysis, pricing strategy, and business growth initiatives
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Create board-level decks, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making
  • Advanced Financial Models: Build and maintain advanced financial models and dashboards
  • Analytics Tools: Analyze KPIs, cost structures, and growth levers using Google Sheets/Excel and Power BI (or similar tools)
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: CA Inter/CS/MBA Finance or equivalent qualifications
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen with hands-on expertise in bookkeeping, compliance, and FP&A
  • Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
  • Analytics Tools: Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools is a strong advantage
  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable with early-stage startup chaos
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to learn and grow rapidly
