Logistics Coordinator - Supply Chain Management Expert

 

Job Description:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for arranging trucks for 3rd party logistics movements across India. You must possess good communication and negotiation skills to effectively coordinate with stakeholders. Additionally, having knowledge of prevailing market freight rates and terms of payment is crucial for success in this role.

Experience in the field of truck placement for transport companies is preferred, as it demonstrates your understanding of the logistics landscape. Furthermore, being able to prepare daily reports and coordinate collections of acknowledgements will help you meet the expectations of this position.

Key responsibilities include meeting cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets, while working closely with cross-functional teams to plan and manage logistics, transportation, and customer services.

A successful candidate will have a record of successful distribution and logistics management, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of prevailing market freight rates and terms of payment
  • Experience in truck placement for transport companies (preferred)
  • Ability to prepare daily reports and coordinate collections of acknowledgements
