Job Description

Lead a Securities Operations Team
  • Manage and motivate a team of specialists in transactional tasks to ensure quality, compliance and efficiency in securities operations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all delivery tasks and escalations, providing support and guidance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development to drive business success.
  • Ensure the team consistently meets delivery expectations and resolves issues related to reporting, career path and related activities for direct reports.
  • Collaborate and influence professionals at all levels, including senior management and more experienced managers.
  • Lead the team to achieve objectives and make strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Management: Manage, develop and evaluate a high-performing team of analysts and specialists responsible for income collection and entitlement processing.
  2. Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals and provide coaching and feedback.
  3. Workforce Planning: Allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands and deadlines, manage staffing levels and succession planning.
  4. Operational Excellence: Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy and continuous improvement, monitor KPIs and service level agreements.
  5. Communication & Collaboration: Act as a liaison between teams, facilitate collaboration and promote transparency and open communication within the team.
  6. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure team adherence to internal controls, compliance policies and regulatory requirements, lead audits and reviews.
  7. Change Management: Guide the team through process changes, system upgrades and organizational shifts, champion automation and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Securities Operations or equivalent.
  • Leadership experience with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
