Security Operations Specialist Trainer

This is a part-time remote role for an experienced Security Operations Center (SOC) professional to train others on key practices, including monitoring, detection, incident response, and threat analysis. The trainer will be responsible for creating engaging online training sessions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience as a SOC Analyst or in related Cybersecurity operations, with proficiency in SIEM tools, log analysis, incident response, and threat hunting. Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, attack vectors, and defense mechanisms are essential.
A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, Splunk, Azure Sentinel, etc., are highly valued.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver instructional modules on SOC practices
- Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated with the latest Cybersecurity threats and tools
- Enhance course content according to industry standards and best practices
- Hands-on experience as a SOC Analyst or in related Cybersecurity operations
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, log analysis, incident response, and threat hunting
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, attack vectors, and defense mechanisms
