Senior Program Strategist

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to strategize, plan and execute various programs, services and initiatives.
- Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, minimize risk exposure and create efficiencies as appropriate.
- Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support functions and business performance.
- Perform assessments through fact-finding and data requiring creative approaches to solve complex issues, and develop suitable solutions or recommendations.
- Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans.
- Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
- Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience or education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Possession of an MBA or an advanced degree (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 5 years of capital markets industry experience with a top-tier bank and/or project management experience is preferable.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, portraying great levels of accountability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks and projects concurrently, while maintaining quality, accuracy and integrity.
- Experience presenting information to persuade, educate and enhance understanding at all levels.
- Ability to work in a global team (cross-functional across geographies), interact at different levels and handle a wide range of deliverables with varying levels of complexities.
- Ability to influence and drive cultural change, and drive adoption of new processes.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to produce impactful executive communication and presentations for senior leadership consumption.
Job Expectations:
- Ability to develop and negotiate solutions to issues with partners or clients, including escalations as needed.
- Experience synthesizing data from multiple sources to create persuasive presentations for senior leaders.
- Ability to prioritize work, set deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to lead and operate collaboratively, execution-focused and results-oriented.
- Ability to simplify complex and abstract concepts in a clear and precise manner.
- Ability to grasp complex business concepts quickly to recommend solutions and provide credible challenges.
- Ability to facilitate and lead meetings to reach conclusions, identify tasks, record actions and achieve results.
- Cross-collaboration experience required to effectively engage global counterparts.
