Job Title: Manufacturing Technology Specialist


About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technology Specialist to lead our digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, configuring, and deploying SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include architecting and implementing real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions.

Key qualifications include expertise in Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation, and related technologies.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong knowledge of industrial control systems, database management, and cybersecurity best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Data Acquisition and Visualization: Design and implement real-time data acquisition and visualization solutions using Ignition SCADA and other related technologies.
  • Industrial Control Systems: Develop and maintain secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Database Management: Manage industrial databases (SQL, historian, timeseries databases) for high availability and performance.
  • Cybersecurity: Ensure seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems while adhering to cybersecurity best practices.
  • MES Functions: Implement production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, and other key MES functions.
  • Integration Technologies: Leverage REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA for system interconnectivity and IIoT messaging.
  • Containerization: Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization technologies for SCADA/MES deployments.
  • Digital Transformation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing initiatives.
