Manufacturing Innovation Leader

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute end-to-end diagnostics strategies across manufacturing plants, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), first pass yield (FPY), throughput, and cost per unit.
  • Design and implement cost reduction programs focusing on lean practices, total productive maintenance (TPM), yield and scrap reduction, energy and utility optimization, and maintenance strategy.
  • Define Industry 4.0 roadmaps incorporating manufacturing execution systems (MES), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), historians, Internet of Things (IoT)/edge computing, digital twins, advanced planning and scheduling (APS), and advanced quality analytics.
  • Build business cases and benefit-tracking models to present to senior leadership; drive change on the shop floor through client capability building and stakeholder engagement.
  • Orchestrate multi-workstream programs with cross-functional teams and ecosystem partners, ensuring alignment with data, cyber, and safety considerations.
  • Cultivate high-performing consulting teams; contribute to proposal development and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Lead experience in managing end-to-end client engagements and programs, as well as team management, is required.
  • This role demands strong leadership, project management, self-motivation, innovation, and a collaborative mindset.
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving approach, accompanied by exceptional core consulting skills (analytical, primary and secondary research, presentation, financial modeling), is essential.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, along with outstanding presentation and verbal and written communication skills, are necessary.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information is crucial.
  • The ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment with competing priorities is vital.
  • An exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and track record of executing impactful initiatives are expected.

Key Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, innovation, strategy, operations, or technology domains.
  • Prior experience in managing end-to-end client engagements and programs.
  • Prior experience in managing teams.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and collaborative team player.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong core consulting skills – i.e., analytical, primary and secondary research, presentation, and financial modeling, including logical structuring and storyboarding.
  • Accustomed to working in teams, including virtual teams.
  • Highly developed personal and professional ethics are expected.
  • Strong business development and innovation skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Strong presentation and verbal and written communication skills, and experience communicating to and working with virtual teams and senior leadership.
