We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting, administrative, and secretarial tasks.

The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of financial principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities. They will be responsible for assisting with data entry, record keeping, and maintaining financial documents, as well as processing invoices, receipts, and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and reports.
  • Assist with reconciling bank statements and company accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process customer invoices and send reminders, maintaining effective communication with customers.
  • Arrange for payments from customers and follow up as needed, ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial reporting, providing accurate and reliable information to management.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide periodic updates to management on finance activities, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Carry out supplementary tasks in administration and accounts, supporting the efficient operation of the finance team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
