Senior Manager Financial Reporting Job Description

The Senior Manager Financial Reporting will oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS, IFRS).
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Prepare and analyze management reports.
  • Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance, including securities laws, tax laws, and corporate governance.
  • Develop policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Leverage technology to streamline processes and improve data quality.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, board members, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide clear and concise financial information.
  • Address inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate financial information to senior management, board members, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Financial Reporting.
  • CA qualification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
