Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will involve managing key financial processes, including journal maintenance, payroll processing, and GST compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and balance sheets across various accounts.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations by maintaining accurate records and submitting returns on time.
- Conduct regular audits of GST accounting and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) reports to provide insights into financial performance.
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements, highlighting areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Process vendor payments and manage cash flows to minimize outstanding balances.
- Implement Cost Accounting practices to optimize resource allocation and reduce costs.
- Provide daily reports to management on key financial metrics and trends.
